Wisconsin MCBA Show at the Community building in Mazomanie, WI - October 19th, 2024
This year was a shorter trip by 5 hours with my relocation to Fort Worth! It was only 21 hours.... ok it's still a dastardly long trip but I'm happy to never have to drive through San Antonio, Austin or Dallas again!
Judging this years show was Paul K from New York, he got a lot of exercise as this was one of the largest shows in the last 10 years.
We had more chinchillas show up than ever before, over 200. Ran out of room on the tables to store them.
A rare photo of me (left) directing our young animal handlers in who to pick up next. They do a fantastic job every year.
Cleanup goes fast when everyone chips in! We were out by 7:30PM
Photo courtesy of Kyle (gentleman with the camera in the first photo). My violet took reserve female of show this year.
My champion Black Velvet Angora male.
My Tov Sapphire also took champion.
And my champion Violet girl! It is really an honor to do so well with this much competition.
