Hetero Ebony

An ebony is a standard chinchilla with an accumulation of the ebony gene. They can be distinguished by a belly that is not white. The common terms used are Hetero and Homo. These are descriptive terms and not true to the genetic accumulative nature of the ebony gene. To date there is no such thing as a true homogyzous state of ebony.
