Lowe Recessive White (Goldbaar)

This is a "Lowe" recessive white. It is a true recessive and takes two carriers to produce a white offspring. It showed up on the Lowe ranch out of a Blue Vale Standard in 2002. You can see they are a very creamy beige hue. Bob no longer breeds and the line is being persued by Alderbrook Chinchillas in Canada. Recently some test pairings proved that this is the same recessive white gene as the Goldbaar which showed up on the Baar ranch in the 80's.
